Nolege End User License Agreement (EULA)
1. Purpose
These terms govern the installation and use of the software "Nolege" (the "Software") provided by Nolege (the "Developer"). By installing or using the Software, you agree to these terms.
2. License Grant
- The Software is provided free of charge.
- You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software in personal and work environments.
- This license does not transfer ownership of the Software.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
- Sell the Software or redistribute it for a fee
- Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Create or distribute derivative works based on the Software
- Remove or alter copyright notices in the Software
4. Ownership of Your Data
- All content you create with the Software — notes, events, images, and more ("User Data") — is owned entirely by you.
- User Data is stored only on your computer. The Developer does not collect or access it.
- You are responsible for keeping and backing up your User Data. The Developer is not liable for data loss caused by system resets, uninstallation, or similar events.
5. Intellectual Property
The copyright and intellectual property rights of the Software, logo, and website belong to the Developer. Open source software included in the Software is governed by its respective licenses; see the THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt file in the installation folder for details.
6. Updates and Changes
- The Software may deliver new versions through its automatic update feature.
- The Developer may add or change features, or discontinue the service. Even if the service is discontinued, the installed Software and your User Data remain usable on your computer.
7. Paid Services
If paid features are introduced in the future, specific terms including pricing, billing, and refunds will be announced separately at that time and applied with your consent. Features currently provided for free will not be converted to paid features.
8. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Software is provided "AS IS". The Developer makes no express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages (including data loss, business interruption, or lost profits) arising from the use of or inability to use the Software, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Developer.
10. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated as needed. Updated terms take effect when posted on this website (nolegeapp.com). Significant changes will be announced through in-app notices or similar means.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
